Track Name: Now-Wave
[Reporter]
Every so often, some artist or performer comes along who is so, well... out there, that even the avant-garde sits up and takes notice.

[Klaus Nomi]
Some New Yorkers know me very well.
I'm Klaus Nomi, I'm from the planet Nomi.

I'm using many different elements,
such as rock and new wave and disco and whatever is available,
what is dear to me.

I don't think it's freaky.
I call it now-wave.
Future is now.

People are always waiting for the future to come,
I think- we start right now, at this moment,
this is where the future is.

I'm wearing black lipstick so you can see my lips,
and you can see what I am doing with them.

I call it now-wave.
Future is now.
Track Name: Oceanix
I feel emotions.
Big blue crates in the yard,
looming vessel lies before me,
the steel so blue and far.

Craving to know what lies below.
it's not for us to know.
Driving back and forth because
she is putting on a show.

Oceanix, so tall it floats,
in blue and green and toxic waters.
Cocooned in the structural steel,
I understand not it's appeal.

Like a princess of the past,
I hold you close to my memories.
When I see it standing by
it brings a sparkle to my aging eye.
